For the twelve days of Christmas you might, just might, get your loved one to offer you...
1... The chance to be relaxed and radiant during the festive season, with a holistic facial and gift set from Neal's Yard in Exeter's Princesshay.
The facial is a tailored treatment, involving the Chinese technique of facial mapping to unveil any underlying health and well-being issues. Ideal both as pre-party pick-me-up and for a bit of post-Christmas pampering. Sessions are either 60 or 90 minutes, and cost from £35 to £65.
Neal's Yard also has an extensive range of gift sets to suit all budgets. For sheer indulgence, go for the Gift of Radiance (£55), which includes the gorgeous wild rose beauty balm, a three-in-one cleanser, moisturiser and exfoliating mask, or the Gift of Vitality (£60), which has some of the finest bath and beauty products, such as the Rose and Pomegranate bath oil.

2 ...Perfume which doubles as a work of art! Redolent of autumn berries, Amethyst is the latest fragrance from Lalique. And the blackberries provide the inspiration for the exquisite bottle at the top of the range. Crafted in purple crystal, it has a blackberry bush on the top. With a price tag of £450, this one is not for everyday use. But the fragrance also comes in a slightly plainer bottle at a more affordable £39 for 59ml and £56 for 100ml.
Also available to order from the perfumery department at Hoopers of Torquay is the collectors' limited edition 2008 edition, Sheherezade. Priced at £585, this stunning Art Deco-style piece features a black and white geometric design. Hoopers of Torquay (01801 212754
