The “groundbreaking and powerful” play is set to change lives, and you can see it here in Devon
Exeter Phoenix will play host to a new one-woman show this October.
‘Horny and Holy’ is described as a celebratory, inspirational and deeply moving show that celebrate’s women’s spirituality and sensuality - but it’s certainly not one for the kids.
The 15+ show pulls at the heartstrings, engages the brain and will leave you stimulated and exhilarated.
Actress and author, Tonya Joy Bolton plays all 20 characters and uses comedy, mime, physical theatre, song and poetry throughout the performance.
When the show last toured in 2012, every show sold out, with the same popularity expected this time around.
An audience member was quoted as saying: “I’ve never seen anything like this before. Gripping, honest and truly inspirational.”
Tonya will perform ‘Horny and Holy’ at the Exeter Phoenix on 21 October.
