A record label based in Newton Abbot has announced that its investment pitch through an Exeter-based crowd funding platform has gathered momentum after the recent success of its first signing, indie rock band These Reigning Days — and Michelin-starred celebrity chef Heston Blumenthal, a fan of the band, has joined the investment team

Ecco Recordings has released details of how well its recent crowd funding pitch is doing, which aims to raise investment that would be used to help build on the momentum and success of its first signing, a three piece indie rock band from Torquay, and to sign and develop new Westcountry artists.

The funding pitch is being run through Crowdcube, a platform based in Exeter which enables companies to raise business investment.

Heston Blumenthal has become one of the latest investors to pledge funds through Crowdcube for Ecco Recordings, after the recent success of the band.

When speaking about his decision to invest in the record label and band through Crowdcube, Heston said: “I have added my investment to Ecco’s pitch because I love These Reigning Days’ music and I am a great fan of the band having seen them play and met them on tour in the Alps. I believe they have a really exciting future.”

If you would like to find out how you can own a slice of the label and support the band, visit Ecco’s pitch at www.crowdcube.com.

Investors can invest from as little as £10.
