A NEW craft gallery dedicated to selling items made in Devon has opened in Bovey Tracey. Porters of Station Road features works from more than 30 of Devon’s finest crafters, artists, photographers and makers.
It also offers people the option of renting a pod - paying a nominal fee each month to enable them to have an affordable shop front without having to worry about the overheads of sales staff or the nitty gritty of running a shop. It also means they are able to keep the majority of their profits.
Owner Ali Porter said: “We feel it’s vitally important to support the talent that is on our doorstep to enable Devon to continue growing. When you buy something at Porters you will know that it has been handmade with a lot of love, is unique and most importantly has been Devon made.”
