Grand Western Canal

With activities including horse-drawn barge trips, boat hire and more, the Grand Western Canal Country Park is the perfect day out for the family.

Bickleigh Mill

Dating back to the late 18th century, Bickleigh Mill was a corn mill up until the 1960’s. Visit the mill and water wheel, browse the delightful gift shops and enjoy lunch at the café.


This National Trust country estate boasts a magnificent Gothic Revival house and acres of stunning gardens and woodlands.

The Oak Room

This former chapel is now an arts centre which plays host to Flamenco nights, theatre productions, yoga, jazz and acoustic nights, plus a range of art classes and fairs.

The Globe Inn
