Devon’s Miniature Pony Centre is holding a free open day
Devon’s Miniature Pony Centre is throwing open its doors to visitors in June for a free open day.
The popular attraction on Dartmoor will welcome people to see the little horses on 17 June, from 10.30am to 4.30pm.
The centre, near Moretonhampstead, has a large family of miniature ponies with lots of different colours, sizes and characters.
They live as a herd all year round and enjoy eating lots of grass. Visitors can get close to them in the front paddock and see them in an indoor barn. The miniature ponies have lots of friends at the Centre, including Muffin the Mule and heavy horses Buster & Harris.
As well as the miniature ponies and tiny foals there will be several other things for people to see and do including Jack’s Zoo, The Barking Tricksters, face painting, Devon Wildlife Trust, a barbecue and more.
