On Sunday 20 June, St Michael and All Angels in Princetown hosted a Midsummer Tea Party - a novel fundraising event in aid of the Churches Conservation Trust, the national charity protecting historic churches at risk. The event was organised by CCT volunteer Pam Law with the assistance of the High Moorland Womens Institute. St Michael and All Angels joined over 100 of Englands most spectacular and nationally significant historic churches to reveal its spine-tingling history and show how it can be enjoyed by people today.
