Following a tour of the Anglo Zulu War battlefields in South Africa earlier this year, the group reunited recently for visits to Exeter & Crediton to view memorials and artefacts associated with the 1879 campaign.

The career of General Sir Redvers Buller, a Devon man , who won a Victoria Cross at the Anglo Zulu war battle of Hlobane was of particular interest.
The group had a guided tour of the Buller ancestral home at Downes House near Crediton.
