Devon companies are being offered the opportunity to get involved with a TEDx event which will bring eight local and global speakers to the Plymouth University buildings on 25 October
Leading thinkers from fields as diverse and politics, education, media, sport, science and business will speak at Plymouth University as part of TEDxPlymouthUniversity 2014.
The event will feature high profile individuals, including Paul Sherlock OBE, who for 36 years directed Oxfam’s relief efforts across the world. The talks will share ideas with over 100 guests and Twitter followers who will be taking part via a live twittercast.
From a four day conference in California over 26 years ago, TED and the TEDx programme has grown to support world-changing ideas with multiple initiatives.
The organisers are currently looking for support and sponsors to make this event a success. Each sponsor will have the opportunity to attend the event and speak to a captive audience about their product or service as well as the knowledge they have helped put Plymouth on a global map.
