Newton & Noss enthusiasts at the Yealm Yacht Club, enjoyed watching the Ireland v Wales Rugby International on the club's big screen, whilst knitting for the W.I. "KNIT-A-THON" which will reach its finale on 7th April.

KNIT-A-THON which will reach its finale on 7th April. An ambitious length of knitting will be stretched across the Voss at low water, from Noss Mayo to Newton Ferrers on Easter weekend Saturday.



KNIT-A-THON knitters from the throughout the community and its adjacent villages, plus local businesses will raise much needed sponsorship funding towards the renovation of Newton Ferrers 86 year old WI Community Hall.

Meanwhile...


Members of the Newton & Noss W.I. Branch were busy knitting triangles and squares in the WI Hall during a lively presentation by Sue Spooner.
