Ever wished there was a popular game show like Total Wipeout which you could take part in with your pet dog? Are you ready for the next muddy challenge?

On Sunday 23 February, Animals in Distress will again be hosting their successful sponsored muddy dog event in the beautiful River Dart Country Park.

If you and your beloved mutt fancy setting yourselves a muddy challenge to raise funds for the animals at the rescue centre, then head down to the beautiful setting of the River Dart Country Park for their wonderful, fun Muddy Mutts sponsored muddy dog event.

It will involve mud, water, dog-friendly obstacles such as jumps, tunnels, weaves and temptation alley games, commando crawling and a water-dip. Dog washing and drying facilities will be available at the end of the course.

Iain Proud, Community and Events Fundraiser said "This year's course will be longer - and muddier - than ever before!

"For people who prefer just to have a relaxed walk in the beautiful South Devon countryside, there is also the option of walking the course without doing the obstacles."

All you need to do to enter is pledge a minimum sponsorship of £20. All proceeds from the event will go to help the animals at the Animals in Distress rescue centre.
