Business Leaders roll up to celebrate law firm Kitsons' new launch

On 26th May 2010, over 120 of South Devon's business leaders joined regional law firm, Kitsons, to celebrate a move in to its new state of the art offices in Edginswell Park, Torquay.

Over 120 of South Devons business leaders joined regional law firm, Kitsons, to celebrate a move in to its new state of the art offices in Edginswell Park, Torquay.

The firm, which has also recently re-branded, threw a launch party with a fairground theme at its new high tech facility at Minerva House. Representatives attended the event from the areas top businesses including Glendinnings, Bettesworths, The Grand Hotel, Paignton Zoo, South Devon College, and theTorbay Development Agency.

The Mayor of Torbay, Nick Bye, officially opened the premises for business and spoke to the attendees about the importance of investments in the Bay such as the one Kitsons is making at Edginswell.

Commenting after the event, Torbay Mayor Nick Bye said:

I was delighted to attend on Wednesday evening and say a few words to welcome Kitsons to their new home. This investment in brand new, state of the art premises is a real vote of confidence in Torbays economy. I was hugely impressed with the quality of the design.

The Mayor continued:

Torbay needs to develop a much stronger economic base, including more high value, knowledge-based, professional jobs. I see the Edginswell Business Park as part of this. I wish Kitsons every success for the future.

Guests were invited to test their skills at fun fairground party games such as skittles, hoopla, a ping-pong challenge and basketball, and enjoyed snacks from a candyfloss stall and an ice cream van.

All party games highlighted Kitsons recently unveiled dynamic new brand image and straightforward business ethos, the way solicitors should be, by playing to the strengths associated with the law firm, such as responsiveness and professionalism. And, demonstrating further that the re-brand reinforces Kitsons progressive, expanding and modern image, the law firms new premises at Edginswell Park includes the latest in technology and design.

Minerva House offers a very modern working environment, with large flat screen monitors situated in the foyer, kitchen and meeting rooms. An American-themed diner offers staff a comfortable break-out space for lunch and meetings, while fully air-conditioned open-plan office spaces, meeting rooms and ample parking combine to provide an improved experience for both clients and staff alike.
