Each year, from around January through until March, snowdrops can be seen pushing up through the cold winter soil and transforming our woodlands into white wonderlands. It’s the perfect reminder that spring is on the horizon, bringing with it more light and new life to our green spaces. Here is a list of 9 superb spots in Devon to witness this annual spectacle
Situated on the outskirts of Exeter, Bickham House is a small 17th century mansion, set within a two hectare park in a secluded wooded valley.
Visitors wishing to see the blanket of snowdrops which adorn the banks each year, along with a small named collection grown at Bickham Cottage, are invited to on the following dates: February 17, March 31, April 14 and May 12 from 2-5pm. Admission £5.00, children free.
