The weekend is fast approaching and for those still deciding how to spend their Friday through to Sunday, we pick 5 of the best ways to spend your weekend in Devon

Comedy at the Park - February 7

The first Comedy at the Park of 2020 will be on Friday 7th February.

The line-up is yet to be announced, however the Comedy Surgery are sure to come up with four brilliant comics.

Tickets are available for £10, or £15 including hot food on the evening. Early bird tickets are available until Friday 20th December.

Guided Birdwatching Cruises - February 7 - 9

You will discover and learn all about the species, habitat and behaviours of the thousands of birds on the Exe Estuary and East Devon Coast.

The award-winning Chunk of Devon pasties - both steak and vegetarian - are available to pre-order and the hot and super tasty Rod & Bens organic soup is available on board.

Please note that due to the length and nature of these cruises, we do not recommend them for young children.

Armed Forces Raceday at Exeter Racecourse - February 9

Come along and enjoy a superb day of racing, as Exeter Racecourse supports the Armed Forces on Sunday, February 9.

Racing will be of the highest calibre with candidates for the big spring festivals laying their credentials bare. In 2018 it was South Molton's Lizzie Kelly and Coo Star Sivola who followed their Exeter win with success at Cheltenham Festival.

Winter warmer walk around Greenway estate - February 9

Join Active Outdoors Officer Lucy on a free circular walk around the Greenway estate, taking in the river views.

The walk is approx 3km, and due to the nature of the paths, spaces are limited so booking is essential.

The Tales Of Robin Hood - February 9

Come and join us for this brilliant family show, brought to life by the Angel Heart Theatre.

Join England's greatest outlaw as he and his merry friends take on the dastardly Sheriff of Nottingham! Be swept along in the adventure as dynamic puppetry and colourful acting bring these much loved tales to life. With comedy, derring-do and even interactive archery, The Tales of Robin Hood is a quiver full of fun for both young and old alike.
