Gather family and friends, wrap up warm and enjoy spectacular Bonfire Night celebrations across the county. We have chosen 15 of the best firework displays across Devon for you to enjoy

1) Ottery St Mary Tar Barrels – November 5

Starts: 7pm

Tickets: Free!

Highlights: A quirky tradition of carrying large flaming barrels through the streets

2) Westpoint Arena, Exeter – November 5

Starts: 5.30pm

Tickets: Adults are £6, under-16s £4 and a family ticket is £16

Highlights: Said to be the largest pyro-musical charity firework display in Devon

3) Plymouth Hoe – November 5

Starts: 4pm

Tickets: TBC

Highlights: Entertainment from Radio Plymouth

4) Barnstaple Rugby Club - November 4

Starts: 5.30pm

Tickets: £4 for adults and £3 for children

Highlights: Run by Barnstaple & District Round Table, by visiting you’ll do your bit for local causes

5) Spooks and Sparks at Rugby Club, Ilfracombe - October 26

Starts: 6.30pm

Tickets: £3 adults and £2 children

Highlights: A Halloween-themed display with all sorts of entertainment and a fancy dress competition

6) Bonfire Party at The Big Sheep, Bideford - November 5

Starts: 4pm

Tickets: Entry is £6 for adults and children over 3ft

Highlights: Enormous event with lots of street food, fire performers and an indoor playground

7) Orestone Manor - November 2

Starts: 7pm

Tickets: £45

Highlights: A premium fireworks experience which also includes mulled wine on arrival and a delicious three-course dinner

8) Woolacombe Meadow - November 2

Starts: 6pm

Tickets: £5 adult and £3 children

Highlights: A hog roast to be accompanied by a fully licensed bar

9) River Dart Country Park - November 3

Tickets: £6.50

Highlights: Activities throughout the day in this gorgeous countryside park

10) Day of the Dead Festival in Westward Ho! - October 20

Tickets: Free

Highlights: Not technically a bonfire celebration but it ends with fireworks over this beautiful coastal resort!

11) Crealy Firework Extravaganza - October 27 - 28

Starts: 7pm Saturday and 6pm Sunday

Tickets: Usual site admission prices apply

Highlights: Selected rides open later and lots of spooktacular events also happening during the day

12) Woodbury Park - November 2

Starts: 7pm

Tickets: £7 adults and £5 children

Highlights: Street food and outside bars in the surrounds of this pretty golf course and hotel resort

13) Teignmouth and Shaldon - November 3

Starts: 7.15pm

Tickets: Free

Highlights: Fireworks going off above this beautiful part of the coast

14) Galmpton Touring Park - November 1

Tickets: £10 adults and £5 children

Highlights: A torch procession followed by a pyrotechnic light display

Highlights: BBQ, glow products on sale and fireworks backing this pretty country house
