Hip, Hop Hooray, Easter is on its way and Devon’s Top Attractions have been busy organising a super collection of Easter themed days out and egg-stra special activities ready for the Easter school holidays. Easterical family fun guaranteed right across Devon at the 40 top visitor attractions.

From bonnets to bunnies, Devon has got it cracked, offering a non-stop assortment of Easter treats and events that will be sure to keep everyone entertained. Here are a few egg-amples! Why not hop over to the Big Sheep and meet the Easter Bunny, take part in one of Devon’s BIGGEST Easter egg hunts and be enchanted at the sight of the new-born lambs. Try and find the Easter Chicks at Clovelly Village or follow the Easter trail around the blossoming gardens at National Trust Killerton. Join the Easter egg trail at Babbacombe Model Village and enjoy their magical illumination. There’ll be more scrambling for eggs on the trails out at Canonteign falls, Wildwood Escot, Miniature Pony Centre and at many more of the top attractions.

Enjoy the underground Dinosaur Quest at Kents Cavern, piece together the dinosaur facts around the caves and see if you can win an Easter surprise. There’s not just Easter egg hunts but loads of farmyard fun too out at Pennywell Farm with a bumper programme of Easter activities and not forgetting there’ll be plenty of time to see all Pennywell’s adorable new arrivals that you can bottle feed, meet and cuddle.

Take part in the Easter Holiday Hunt at the Donkey Sanctuary along with craft activities. Create your own donkey out of clay and make your very own set of wearable donkey ears. And there’s more hands on fun-filled crafty castle capers going on out at Castle Drogo. Why not take a trip on the Dinosaur train at Seaton Tramway, receive a goody bag and a nature tracker’s guidebook? Enjoy Candy Capers out at Powderham Castlec where children can meet the famous chocolatier himself with themed sessions and fun with the Pocketwatch team.

The Minions are back by popular demand at World of Country Life over the Easter weekend and you can meet Chase from Paw Patrol who will be appearing at Woodland Family Theme Park on 29th March. For all the bunny fans out there, there’s a chance to meet Peter Rabbit himself, who will be visiting the Milky Way Adventure Park on 27th March.

So, the hunt is on to find that perfect family Easter day out. Don’t put all your eggs in one basket until you have taken a look at the website www.lotstodo.co.uk and see the huge choice available.
