Award: Gold

Based near Okehampton, this nursery is acknowledged as the leading hosta nursery in the UK, and have displayed continually at Chelsea Flower Show since 1996. bowdenhostas.com

Sir Harry Veitch: A Life of Plants & Service

Award: Silver-Gilt Lindley

Organised through Plant Heritage, this was an educational exhibit (introduced by renowned plantsman Roy Lancaster) telling the story of the life of Sir Harry Veitch (of Exeter). His life work included botany, plant breeding, charitable work and Royal Horticultural duties. He also helped organise the International Horticultural Exhibitions of 1886 and 1912, the latter being the precursor of the first RHS Chelsea Flower Show in 1913.

Culm View Nursery

Award: Gold

Whetman Pinks

Award: Gold

In association with the Alzheimers Society, this years display was designed as a symbolic depiction of sense of smell, suggesting how powerful a trigger a smell can be in stimulating memory.
