Archant

“My name is Lyndsay Kingwell and for the past 5 years i have been working within a school of floristry working with a wide range of floral designs including wedding and funeral designs.”

“In my early 20’s, I became very interested in floral art, helping my late mother with the village church flowers to start with and then designing a pedestal arrangement once a week together with the occasional table arrangement for my local golf club. I had only a vague idea of what i was doing at the time but I knew that I should learn more and to be able to do it properly. It wasn’t until about 5 years ago that I read the advertisement in my local newspaper advertising the floristry school and I jumped at the chance to attend.

We started out with simple designs and techniques and progressed from there until today I am just about to complete my level 2 examinations in wedding and funeral work, therefore by constantly updating my skills, it enables me to enhance my knowledge and personal understanding within the flower industry, giving me the very best in floral design.

I have now decided to become a ‘freelance’ florist, specialising in wedding and funeral floristry, and I also still attend once a week, a recreational floristry class. This class gives me inspiration to create beautiful bespoke floral designs which ensure that I keep up with the knowledge of the “up-to-date” designs within the floristry trade.

I offer a free, no obligation consultation to present my portfolio and examples of my work together with any other information which may help you to decide if I am right for you and if you choose me to provide for your wedding, I shall work relentlessly to ensure that it is a success.

The flowers are bought specifically for your needs in order to ensure that you receive the freshest flowers available. As a price guide, I can provide you with a typical wedding flower price upon request, though these do depend on the season and also the demand.

All wedding displays and flower arrangements are uniquely designed flowers that are tailor made specifically to your tastes. I work closely with my customers to ensure that the flowers will be perfect for your special day.
