Head to one of Dartmoor’s favourite beauty spots and you could find yourself enjoying a safari-style dining experience

Malcolm Riley, otherwise known as the African chef has taken on the catering licence at Trenchford Reservoir near Bovey Tracey. His pop up kitchen will be on site every weekend serving hot food, home-made cakes, organic tea, coffee and cold drinks.

Treats include hand-rolled 100% Dexter beef meatballs in a rich chakalaka sauce, sweet potato and coconut rice and the finest all day African take on the English breakfast.

Born and raised in Zambia, Malcolm’s passion for food comes from his mother’s great love of cooking and his inspiration comes from his love of South African dishes and exploring all the wonderful cuisines from across the African continent.
