Devon Life is delighted to launch the 10th Devon Life Food & Drink Awards, now recognised as the Oscars of the local food and drink industry.

Living in Devon, surrounded by an abundance of great quality local produce and products to choose from, these awards have gone from strength to strength over the years since our launch back in 2003.

These awards are designed to champion, highlight and offer a showcase to the good and the great from the region’s food and drink industry including local producers and suppliers, small farming businesses, chefs, restaurants, pubs, hoteliers and people who care about the countryside and the future of our local environment.

The companies nominated are all voted for by you, our readers.

We want to know if you’ve received a fantastic meal at your local pub or have been impressed by the produce and service at your farmers’ market or local restaurant.

Entry forms are available in the July issue of the magazine and will be repeated in the Summer Special and August issues of Devon Life. The nomination form is also available to download here. Just click the link at the top right of this article.

Entries close on Friday 23rd August. The three businesses from each category with the most reader votes are put through to the finals when our panel of judges will then select a shortlist and then the independent judging process will begin.

All the finalists will be invited to the prestigious awards ceremony on November 7 at Sandy Park, Exeter, where they will find out if they are a winner. You are also invited to join in the fun and see if your vote walks away with an award. Please see the August issue for more ticket details.

The awards would not work without your help and support. If you don’t vote – they can’t win!

We look forward to receiving your nomination and support for your local hard working food and drink businesses.
