The Pancake Flip Cocktail

The Pancake Flip Cocktail

Archant

The Magdalen Chapter Hotel in Exeter is going all out this year, making a pancake inspired menu and a cocktail for this year’s Shrove Tuesday.

We all love a bit of indulgence. This delicious pancake inspired cocktail is a take on the old classic, The Whisky Flip. Magdalen Chapter will be serving a flipping marvellous blend of Canadian Club whiskey, muddled blueberries, lemon juice, maple syrup and blueberry liqueur.

This Shrove Tuesday, 17 February, you could enjoy some delicious food at The Magdalen Chapter, where they will be serving a traditional pancake breakfast. Or you could dine at home and make this exquisite cocktail called The Pancake Flip.

To make this delicious tipple yourself, mix:

37.5ml Canadian Club whiskey

15ml blueberry liqueur

12.5ml maple syrup

12.5ml lemon juice

10 muddled blueberries

1 egg
