Marco Pierre White’s New York Italian at Clyst Honiton in Exeter is showing their support for Movember by creating a special dish to help raise money for the campaign.

The Mo-burgerThe Mo-burger

The Marco’s Mo-burger is an 8oz steak burger with a stiff upper lip ‘spicy’ dressing, ‘hairy’ lettuce, melted cheese, tomato and mayonnaise in a brioche bun and served with seasoned paprika fries. Customers can lend their support by buying the limited edition burger and for every one sold the restaurant will donate £1 to Movember. The charity raises awareness about men’s health including prostate and testicular cancer.

Nick Taplin, Marco’s business partner says “Men are traditionally very reluctant to speak up and seek help about their health. The Movember campaign really has changed all of that and involving Marco’s restaurants will, we hope, help raise the awareness further and add funds to help with the research and support programmes.”

The aim of this campaign is to be a bit of fun whilst doing something good to help change the face of men’s health. The burger goes on sale from 1 November for the duration of the month. So go and enjoy a delicious burger to do your bit for Movember.
