China Fleet Country Club in Saltash is known to many people in many different ways. Some think it's a navy only club, some think it's a member's only club and some people enjoy the facilities knowing that it's neither of these things.

China Fleet Country Club in Saltash is known to many people in many different ways. Some think its a navy only club, some think its a members only club and some people enjoy the facilities knowing that its neither of these things. To the people that work there it is known as being part of a family
This couldnt be truer for the newly established Food and Beverage team with the key members not only being part of China Fleet but are local to the area and have been for an exceedingly long time (collectively of course!)
Andrew Truscott, China Fleets new Food and Beverage Manager has lived and worked in and around Saltash for the past 21 years. He re-joins the club in this senior position with an extensive amount of passion, knowledge and dedication.
Deputy Food and Beverage Manager Kevin Williams has over 20 years of industry experience; he started at China Fleet 6 years ago as their Restaurant Manager and has grown with the business ever since.
Gareth Langford has been a part of the China Fleet family for 8 years; he started as a hardworking and devoted chef and has worked his way to an even harder working and more devoted Executive Head Chef.
China Fleets new Events Specialist, Julie Monk has grown up in Saltash and is well known and loved in the local community. She re-joins the club with expertise in all things that need celebrating; she is organised, enthusiastic and loves to make peoples dreams come true.
With all this expertise and local knowledge China Fleet felt they should make the most of this talent and have challenged them to come up with something new and exciting!
They have started with a NEW Brasserie Menu
There will be lots of new dishes, enhancements to old favourites and even more choice for calorie-counters; and more surprises to be announced on the launch day (Monday 11th June 2012). Rest assured that the Food and Beverage team have worked hard to include new dishes for all times of the day! There will also be special deals for certain evenings of the week in fact there is something new or enhanced for whatever takes your fancy.
New dishes will include Goats Cheese and Beetroot Tatin, Classic Chicken Korma and Cajun Spiced Chicken Breast Burger. To keep up with their fit and healthy customers there is a new Salad section with a dressed, mixed Salad Bowl with a choice of topping ranging from Char-Grilled Rump Steak to Feta Cheese, Red Onion and Olives.
As a team we are thrilled to unveil our new Brasserie menu. Weve spent time developing a full and varied range of foods that offer our customers great choice and affordability.
China Fleet prides itself on great service and great food and have built on what we know and what our customers have been telling us; we have come up with what we believe is our best menu yet! Food and Beverage Manager Andy Truscott.
Food is served from 8am until 9.30pm in the Brasserie at China Fleet in Saltash. Its a great place for families to eat out with special menus for kids and big kids alike!
