Nominees for this category were drinks products made by a Devon producer, retailer or manufacturer. Judges considered the innovativeness of the item and whether this was achieved without compromising on its taste, indulgence and value for money.

WINNER: Lily Farm Vineyard, Budleigh Salterton

In 2005 Alan and Faye Pratt, with their two sons Gareth and William, planted 200 vines into the well drained sandy loam soil at Lily Farm. The first harvest of Rondo grapes was picked in 2007. Another 200 vines were planted in 2007 and in 2008 a further 950 vines, taking the total number of vines to 1,350 and the vineyard area to exactly one acre.
