We’ve teamed up with one of the county’s leading family attractions to offer you two chances to win The Perfect Piggy Experience
Pennywell Farm, near Buckfastleigh has become world famous in recent years for breeding the Pennywell miniature pigs. The pigs’ popularity is such that as well as being part of the farm attraction for day visitors, there are some very special experiences just for adults wanting to get up close to these cute and cuddly little porkers.
The first of these, Piggy Pilates, was launched to the world last April. Combining the best of a stunning farm location, animals and exercise the classes have been hugely popular and with Pennywell miniature pigs joining in, what’s not to love?
Pilates teacher Harry Parkes leads the 50-minute pilates class which is followed by breakfast and the promise of piggy cuddles.
Harry explains that while there is plenty of fun to be had, pilates has many benefits including improving posture, movement quality, mobility, flexibility, mental cognition and core strength.
However, for those of us who would rather skip the exercise and get straight to the Piggy cuddles, Piggies and Prosecco might be the perfect way to get hands on with the miniature pigs, in style.
Greeted with a chilled glass of Prosecco, it’s a very different experience of the farm, once the day visitors have gone home. There is plenty of time for piggy cuddles, a private pig race on the Pennywell track and a ploughman’s supper are all included in a two-hour experience.
