Win this fantastic festive hamper filled wih delicious produce from Devon food and drink companies

We all know Devon has the best food and drink producers. With their help we have put together this festive hamper groaning at the seams with tasty products.

To be in with a chance of winning all the products described below simply answer the question at the end of the article before the December 10 closing date.

What’s in the hamper?

A 2kg dry-cured gammon joint (not pictured) from Eversfield Organic near Okehampton. Eversfield home-cure all of their gammon products paying special attention to salt content and the quality of meat to ensure a prefect finished product. Once cured for a minimum of seven days the gammons are carefully tied allowing them to be ready for cooking.

A bottle of Yarde real elderflower cordial from RealDrink. The company makes uniquely pure and natural drinks using only Devon fruit from traditional, organic equivalent orchards. Every bottle identifies the orchard source of fruit. This one is in Stoke Gabriel.

A pot of salted caramel rich fudge sauce from Roly’s Fudge Pantry, Sidmouth and Lyme Regis. This delicious sauce can be used as a dessert accompaniment on ice cream, fruit, or cakes.

The ‘celebrity chefs’ soups range from Tideford Organics - including soups from Mitch Tonks, Mark Hix and Aldo Zilli. These soups are fresh with a 35 day shelf life.

A pot of winter rub and a jar of Original BBQ Sauce from Exmouth company Eat The Smoke. Use this rub on chicken, turkey or ham to impart seasonal savoury flavours and tastiness, whether cooking on the barbecue or in the oven. It has key flavours of cranberry, cloves and thyme.

A jar of spiced oranges from JB Preserves in Ivybridge - delicious with duck, ham or cheese. All products are 100% handmade using only the finest ingredients.

A salami and a jar of pickled onions from the Rusty Pig. The small family-run business has a specialist charcuterie shop in Ottery St Mary and a small supper table where customers can enjoy our artisan produce in truly unique surroundings.

A selction of raw chocolate from MULU Raw Chocolate handcrafted in a purpose-built, environmentally friendly space on the edge of beautiful Dartmoor.

Two bottles of Real Devonshire Apple Juice from Four Elms Fruit Farm. The farm produces a range of award winning apple juice, which is pressed and bottled in Sidmouth. The company uses more than a kilo of apples in each 75cl bottle, with no added sugars, water or concentrates.

A bottle of Devon cold pressed rapeseed oil from Bell and Loxton. The award-winning cold pressed rapeseed oil is grown, pressed and bottled on a farm in South Devon.

A jar of cranberry and orange sauce from Otter Nurseries. The sauce made by Liz lee in the Otter St Mary garden centre’s restaurant kitchen.

A 550 gram Christmas Pudding from Figgy’s Puddings in Exeter. This pudding, for four to six people, is made with 10-year-old Somerset cider brandy and award winning port stout by husband and wife team Richie and Jo Evans (plus two small helpers).

A bottle of Dappa from Devon Distillery Ltd. Devon Distillery is the UK’s first and only micro distillery creating grape-marc-spirit, Dappa. The company uses a custom-designed, hand-crafted and authentic Italian copper pot still to produce this after-dinner drink and cocktail tincture.

Four bottled ales from the Exeter Brewery. The brewery moved to Cowley Bridge Road to become the first Exeter-based brewery since Heavitree Brewery ceased production over 40 years ago. The beers in the hamper are Darkness, Avocet, Fall’s Over and Ferryman.

A packet of Organic Fairtrade Golden Brew Tea and a packet of Finest Organic Coffee from the Venus Company.

Some Earl Grey and English Breakfast tea from the Costa Rica Plantation Company of Torquay.

A dozen delicious soft drinks from Luscombe Drinks of Buckfastleigh. The twelve tempting flavours are: Sicilian lemonade; orange juice; wild elderflower bubbly; cranberry crush; Madagascan vanilla soda; hot ginger beer; St Clements; apple and apricot juice; Damascene rose bubbly; raspberry crush; Devon apple juice; passionate ginger beer.

A handmade Chocolate Christmas Tree from the Cockington Chocolate Company. Award winning chef Tony Fagan and his partner Simon Storey opened the Cockington Chocolate Company after being inspired by a holiday in the South of France.

Two 125g packs of freshly ground filter coffee from Devon Roast. Cafe Femenino from Peru is a medium roast coffee for all occasions. Vlla Esperanza is Colombian coffee, a medium roast with a rich flavour. Both are roasted in Devon.

From The Shops at Dartington four jars of preserves: picalili, Devon chutney, raspberry extra jam and Christmas marmalade with whisky.

And to help with the Christmas washing up we have a Delicious Devon tea towel from Modbury-based Proctor and Clark. The Delicious Devon tea towel celebrates the best of the county’s signature food and drink produce. Hand-drawn exclusively by artist Peter Gander using ink with dip pen and brush, it features beautiful hand lettering and fine illustrative design in a stunning coastal blue, In fact you may not want to use it from drying the dishes and prefer to hang it on the wall.
