Visitors to the Somersault Festival in North Devon this summer will be able to enjoy fabulous festival food - because River Cottage is going to be on site providing Campfire Feasts.

To celebrate River Cottage getting involved in the festival near South Molton, featuring Bombay Bicycle Club and Laura Marling, they are offering a fantastic Friday Night Dining Experience for two at Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall’s River Cottage HQ, nestled in the beautiful Axe Valley.

The winner will be treated to delicious dishes from the River Cottage kitchen while enjoying the familiar surroundings from the TV series.

The evening will begin at 6.30pm with a short tractor ride down to the farm. On arrival the winner will be greeted by a seasonal aperitif and canapés and have the chance to wander around the kitchen garden and farm before heading into the 17th century threshing barn for the main event. Once seated the chef will introduce the menu and explain how the dishes have been prepared. Guests will then tuck in and enjoy a delicious four course meal followed by coffee and petit fours, all of which will showcase the very best seasonal and local produce.

The prize is a Friday Night Dining Experience for two people at River Cottage HQ. See website for the available dates – to be agreed with River Cottage. The winner must book and attend before 31 October 2015. The prize is subject to availability. The prize does not include travel costs or accommodation. This prize is non-transferable. The prize is for one winner plus their guest, both must be aged 18 or over. The winner will be notified within 10 days of the competition closing date. Somersault is the promoter of this competition.
