Enjoy a taste of whisky at Glazebrook House Hotel

Whisky enthusiasts are being invited to enjoy thought-provoking and fun whisky tasting sessions at Devon’s Glazebrook House Hotel.
The sessions will be held throughout the year in the Alice in Wonderland inspired hotel’s tasting room.
The whisky portfolio is impressive with a selection to match those found in the finest whisky establishments in the country.
With bottles displayed in grand hand carved salvage wood cabinets, this room is simply spectacular and is sure to be a unique point of interest, especially for true whisky enthusiasts.
Each 30 minute tasting will consist of three single malt whisky tastings aged between 10 and 15 years costing £25 per person.
Or for the more extravagant, book the tasting “extraordinaire”, a sumptuous special selection of longer-aged drams 15 years plus and/or limited editions at £45 per person.
Already sold out due to popular demand, The Glazebrook House Hotel will be celebrate Burns night in style on 24 January.
Barry King, ambassador of The Scotch Malt Whisky Society will be in attendance to present the Scotch Malt Whisky Society bottled single-cask drams during this entertaining evening, not forgetting an array of delectable traditional Scottish delicacies will be on offer from Ben Palmer.
Additionally, there will be whisky tastings during the day for a maximum of 12 people.
For wine lovers, wine tastings are also available throughout the year in the tasting room with the Glazebrook sommelier.
With 64 bins offering a wide varietal coverage of Old and New World wines including limited edition Pol Roger Winston Churchill champagne, Glazebrook House Hotel’s extensive wine list has been carefully chosen by pre-eminent wine consultant Rebecca Mitchell and will provide an entertaining and informative evening.
