TWO senior staff members at Bishop Fleming accountancy firm have been promoted, increasing the number of partners to 26 - 10 of which have been appointed in the last three years.
Fleur Lewis, who joined Bishop Fleming from Ernst & Young as Director of Audit, has been made a partner, based in the firm’s Exeter office.
Hazel Tucker, who joined the firm in 2005, has been promoted to Business Services Partner at Bishop Fleming’s Torquay office from her role as Director of Business Services at their Exeter office.
Matthew Lee, the firm’s Managing Partner, says: “We take great pride in the fact that most of our partners have been ‘home-grown’ within the firm. We believe that this policy is at the heart of why we have won so many national awards and been the country’s fastest growing accountancy firm for two-years running.
“Hazel has become a major player in our services to owner-managed businesses, and in our specialist team serving healthcare clients like dentists and care-homes. She will be a strong addition to our Torbay operations.
“Fleur joined us from Ernst & Young as an experienced expert in guiding large corporate businesses and has developed advanced skills and qualifications spanning such sectors as property, marine, retail, and technology”, adds Mr Lee.
