Bride: The Wedding Show returns to Westpoint Exeter this year for its second spring edition, running from March 24-25

Devon couples looking to plan their big day the local way are invited to attend Bride: The Wedding Show at Westpoint Arena in Exeter for an unforgettable weekend of wedding planning.

From bridalwear to menswear, stationery to catering, and venues to photography, the show offers all the components to create a wonderful wedding all under one roof. Featuring a wealth of local suppliers, who are poised to showcase their products and services, the event will also host a plethora of show-exclusive deals, discounts and competitions to enter – including the opportunity to win a luxury honeymoon to Mexico, courtesy of Thomas Cook and AM Resorts. The first 100 brides through the door on both days of the event will also receive a goody bag containing products and vouchers from the show’s exhibitors.

Colin Rimmer, owner and photographer at Hart Photography – based in Tiverton, says: “The Westpoint show has such a good reputation. We have just relocated from Hampshire so it would be good to meet new people. Come and have a relaxed chat about your day and tell us when, where, what plans you have. We will be running a show offer of a free wedding book upgrade if you book through the show.”

There will be a marquee of wedding transport, a stylish champagne bar and café area complete with performance stage – where musical acts, such as Double A & The Bay, will showcase their talents.

All this, plus the sensational choreographed catwalk show which will delight and excite audiences with the latest trends in wedding wear. Taking place at three times daily (11.30am, 1.15pm and 3pm), the catwalk will feature bridalwear from Pirouette, Lovely, TL Bridal, Browns of Totnes and 14 & Sixpence; menswear from Youngs; occasion wear from John Lewis; and bridesmaids’ dresses and mother of the bride outfits from Jane’s of Torquay alongside its new sister store, City Dress of Exeter.

The biannual event is held at Westpoint Exeter every March and October. Rachel Snell visited the debut spring show as a bride-to-be in 2017 and said: “We mainly came to look for photography, but it’s nice to look at everything else. We think we have found our photographer. The catwalk show was fantastic; we got a few ideas.”

Bride: The Wedding Show at Westpoint Exeter runs from March 24-25 (10am to 4pm). Advance tickets are £5 each or £15 for a group of four (booking fees apply). Life readers can buy tickets for just £3, plus booking fee, when using the promotional code LIFE33. Tickets are £7.50 each on the day.
