Local Swimming Pool Company Makes a Splash at Annual Industry Awards

Deep End Pools Devon, based in Crediton, is celebrating its success at the the prestigious Swimming Pool and Allied Trades Association (SPATA) Awards

Deep End Pools Devon, based in Crediton Devon, is celebrating after collecting Gold, two Silvers and picking up the Paul Kite for Pool Star of the Year Award at the prestigious Swimming Pool and Allied Trades Association (SPATA) Awards, held recently at The De Vere Grand Hotel, Brighton.

The awards won by Deep End Pools Devon included Gold for Liner Pools 45,000 and Over, sponsored by Golden Coast Barnstaple Devon and Silver for Residential Outdoor Concrete Pools 75,000 and Over, sponsored by Pollet Pool Group and Bayrol UK, in recognition of the companys ongoing outstanding design and construction of the pools. The Paul Kite Award (sponsored by Nsure) was given to Luke Hill, a Deep End Pools employee for his hard work with the company and on going progression within the industry.

Taking home three awards is a testament to the continued dedication of our team. We are delighted to be SPATA Members and it is pleasing that we have won a Gold award and are particularly thrilled to have a member of our team recognised as the Pool Star of the Year.

Luke Hill continued Winning the Paul Kite Pool Star of the Year Award means a lot to me. Its a great feeling to be acknowledged, not only by my bosses, but by the industry as well.

The awards, organised by SPATA, who represent over 180 specialist pool companies across the UK, including some overseas members, highlights the achievements of the pool industry by showcasing the best examples of construction, design and innovation.

Chris Hayes, Managing Director of SPATA says This year proved to be incredibly popular, creating tough decisions for the judges with a shortlist of 123 entries across 21 categories. The excellent work displayed by our members, demonstrates the value of choosing a SPATA member to design, build and / or renovate your pool.

SPATEX, the UKs largest swimming pool and hot tub exhibition, held its 17th annual trade show at the Hilton Brighton Metropole Hotel over the weekend. Hayes comments, Once again the SPATA Awards were held alongside the SPATEX Show, which sees companies from across the UK gather to showcase their finest products and services. We have been delighted to welcome so many exhibitors and visitors to Brighton to promote themselves and network with colleagues.
