Shebbear in North Devon will host its second antiques fair of the year

The North Devon village of Shebbear, best known for its famous school and its unusual ancient custom of ‘Turning the Stone’, will host its second antiques and collectors fair at the village hall this September.

Over 20 indoor stallholders will offer a wide selection of stunning china, glassware, decorative ornaments, vintage luggage and much more.

Fair organiser, Harvey Paulger, says: “Our first fair in the spring was a great success and was described by one visiting antiques dealer as the best village fair she had attended in the Westcountry.”

While entry is free, donations will go to Help for Heroes and village hall funds.

Delcious homemade refreshments will also be on offer at the event.

The fair runs on Sunday 14 September, 12-4pm.
