Winter on the Dart - Views of the River Dart over Dartmouth and Kingswear, Devon

Sometimes pictures really do say a thousand words. I took these photos on Sunday on the Dart (January 2010). It's hard to believe that this sunny, warm, azure day followed the cold weather we have all been experiencing. Welcome to Dartmouth!

If you are thinking of a winter visit, then Dartmouth in Devon couldn't be more magical. I took these photos this Sunday (January 2010) during awonderful day, both on and off the water. The images show Dartmouth and Kingswear sides of the glorious River Dart, the car ferryand the legendary Dartmouth Castle,

Brunch at Alf Resco's followed by retail therapy around the town ofDartmouth, Devon couldn't provide a more relaxing and enjoyable weekend visit.
