Exeter base Chartered Accountants take on new partners

Chartered accountants Haines Watts based in Southernhay, Exeter has expanded to form their strongest team to date. Paul Benney Head of Tax and Caroline Thomas of the Forensic Department have recently been promoted to partners of the firm.

Chartered accountants Haines Watts based in Southernhay, Exeter has expanded to form their strongest team to date. Paul Benney Head of Tax and Caroline Thomas of the Forensic Department have recently been promoted to partners of the firm and are joined by new team member Patrick Tigwell. The Haines Watts team is now five partners strong including Ben de Cruz and Martin Harris.



Patrick Tigwell with over 15 years experience, specialises in developing business and taxation strategies for owner-managed businesses of all types and believes that many companies are not getting the expert accountancy and taxation advice they deserve. He particularly enjoys working closely with start up business owners to help them achieve their personal financial and taxation goals. Patrick looks at the challenges they face in their first year of trading, giving professional advice and support on book-keeping, VAT, payroll issues, dealing with H M Revenue & Customs and increasing profitability.
