Drew Pearce Chartered Surveyors and Estate Agents were delighted to once again host their annual Solicitors Croquet Challenge in aid of Exeter Leukaemia Fund (ELF).

A strong turnout saw 30 teams battle it out on the Drew Pearce lawn in 14 Cathedral Close under a warm summer sun as the cool drinks flowed and the sausages sizzled!

The winning team of Charles Cooper and David Morgan-Wynne of Harold Michelmore & Co, Newton Abbot fought through a keenly contested final to be the worthy winners of the coveted shield. The runners up were first time entrants Keith Griffiths and Neil Bertram of Eveling Legal & Advisory of Exeter.

This year the adopted charity was Exeter Leukaemia Fund (ELF). Mrs Pat Aldridge of ELF spoke briefly of the important work of this local fundraising charity which has helped to achieve significant improvements in the services available from the Haematology Centre at the RD&E Hospital. The Drew Pearce partners are grateful to all those competing for their generous support of this worthy cause.
