To celebrate the launch of their new Rangemaster Design Centre, leading South West range cooker and stove specialist Rangemoors will be treating customers to live cookery demonstrations by TV chef James Knight Pacheco on 21st May

To celebrate the launch of their new Rangemaster Design Centre, leading South West range cooker and stove specialist Rangemoors will be treating customers to live cookery demonstrations by TV chef James Knight Pacheco and exclusive offers on Saturday 21st May.

Based in the heart of Ruby Country, the event for all the family is to mark Rangemoors new Design Centre, one of the largest in the south west. The Design Centre includes new models of Rangemaster, Falcon and Mercury cookers. Adding to the companys wide selection of Aga, Rayburn, Esse and Stanley cookers, Rangemoors Winkleigh Showroom now houses more than 20 range cookers and 100 wood and multi-fuel burning stoves.

Open day visitors will enjoy celebrity chef James Knight Pachecos energetic and unique demonstrations using the finest local produce. Of Raymond Blancs The Restaurant programme fame, James will be showing the crowds how to get the best out of cooking on traditional range cookers using the produce on our doorstep. With demonstrations at 11am and 2pm, its the perfect opportunity to pick up tips and tricks to get the best from these cookers. A selection of local producers will also be on hand with tasty samples of their wares.

Money raised throughout the day will be donated to North Devon Hospice, the official open day charity partner and, as part of the celebrations, there will be a selection of offers and competitions for visitors including a chance to win 2 places at Rick Steins Cookery School in Padstow, worth 400. The first 5 visitors to purchase cookers on the day will also receive a beautiful set of saucepans to accompany their new purchase.

Ali Hunt, Head of Fundraising at North Devon Hospice, said We are delighted that Rangemoors have chosen to raise money for North Devon Hospice. We rely on the support of local people and businesses to provide our essential care to those living with a life-threatening illness. It is only because of generosity such as this that we are able to support over 100 local patients, families and carers every single day.

Rangemoors 6000 square foot showroom already houses one of the largest selections of cookers and woodburning stoves in the South West, offering customers the most cost effective and eco-friendly heating options to help heat and run their homes. Of the new Rangemaster Design Centre, Rangemoors Managing Director Andrew Baker said, Becoming an official Design Centre is a great achievement for Rangemoors and enables us to offer our customers even more choice. We therefore thought a celebration was in order, giving visitors the opportunity to discuss the tremendous number of stoves and cookers we have on display with our expert staff, while enjoying a fun packed day of celebrity chef cookery demos, special offers and food and drink from local producers.
