A stunning castle will be the impressive venue for The Stylish Lifestyle Show

Stylish Shows, in association with Miss Ivy Events, is proud to be holding The Stylish Lifestyle Show at Pentillie Castle on 16 and 17 April from 10.30 - 16.30.

Visitors to the show will first have the chance to view the stunning castle from the winding path leading up to the courtyard, while taking in the luscious views over the banks of the river Tamar.

This historical gem is only 20 minutes from Plymouth and is home to the much cherished Repton book, a near photographic account of the grounds at the time of Humphry Repton’s visit in 1810, which has featured on programmes such as The Antiques Roadshow and will be on display for viewing during the course of the weekend.

Upon entering the show, visitors will not only be able to gaze upon the gorgeous interior of the castle and see the Repton Book first hand, but will also be greeted by a wide range of Stylish Lifestyle Show exhibitors displaying their own unique products and services interwoven throughout the ground floor rooms. The show will continue into the grounds of Pentillie where there will be a marquee filled with more lifestyle exhibitors, live music and a variety of delicious, local food; all of which can be enjoyed while taking in the surrounding garden area and view of the river Tamar.

And it doesn’t stop there. A variety of workshops and demos visitors can get involved in and gain inspiration from will run throughout the course of the weekend. Fiona Wilson from The Great Interior Challenge will be showing us how to update our furniture, and how to mix and use chalk paint, as well as Cathryn from Cornish Interiors and Velvet Daisy both bringing their expert, creative ideas to the show.

The resident experts at Pentillie will be hosting a garden talk, which will highlight the rich history and background of Penillie’s 55 acres of woodland gardens and 500 acres of parkland. Visitors will also be given the opportunity to explore the surrounding grounds with free entry to the castle’s much loved woodland walk.

Plus, everyone who joins us over the weekend will be in with a chance of winning an exclusive overnight stay for two at the castle. All you need to do is purchase your tickets and register your details upon entering the show.
