With the services and facilities of a luxury hotel, along with privacy, comfort and spacious living spaces, Strathmore House Apartments’s serviced apartments make an ideal place to stay if you plan to visit Devon

Part of the New Continental Group - an award-winning portfolio of Plymouth businesses for over 60 years - Strathmore House Apartments, located a very short walk away from the sea; offer a family welcome to their stylish apartments. Having gone through a refurbishment around eight years ago, they are constantly working with a local interior designer in order to keep the accommodation up to date as well as providing a slightly different option compared to a typical hotel in Devon.

You’ve got the best of both worlds in this Plymouth location, sat right by the cultural scene with Theatre Royal Plymouth a five minute walk away and Plymouth Pavilions just two minutes away, with some of the best of Plymouth’s nightlife nearby, too. Also within walking distance is Plymouth Hoe, meaning Strathmore House Apartments are an ideal place to stay if you’re in the area for MTV’s Ocean City Sounds festival, University of Plymouth graduation celebrations or the British Firework Championships.

The apartments themselves are either one, two, three or four bedrooms, catering for two, four, six and eight guests respectively and all come complete with fully equipped kitchens, bathrooms and bedrooms. Finished in a contemporary style, the apartments are very light and airy, with pockets of colour throughout.

The one bedroom apartments may be the smallest on offer, but they still offer a spacious environment with a large double bedroom and bathroom along with an open plan living and dining area.

Two bedroom apartments include two double bedrooms – with a king-size bed in the master suite - making them a great choice for travelling families with some featuring en suite bathrooms.

Apartments of the three bedroom variety offer a home from home with a large living and kitchen area perfect for families or large groups visiting Plymouth and the surrounding areas Devon has to offer.

In a large, duplex setting, Strathmore House Apartments four bedroom spaces are perfect for larger parties; perhaps families visiting Devon for a wedding or celebration. There is an entrance foyer, large living area as well as an open plan kitchen and dining area resulting in a comfortable stay for up to 8 guests.

In terms of location to transport links, the apartments are around a 15 minute walk from Plymouth train station (approximately £4 by taxi) with the ferry point a similar distance away. Parking is available on site, too, on a first come, first serve basis.
