Spring Wildlife Art Show and Printmaking Workshops-Pavilion in the Park-Okehampton

An exciting Art Show that celebrates the coming into Spring is coming to the OCRA Pavilion in the Park in Okehampton

Diane Bailey BBC Wildlife Artist of the Year Award 2013 and Marielle Ebner- Rijke Artist and Printmaker

Both artists share an interest in wildlife and animal behaviour but have very different styles to make for an exciting and diverse show (see attached pictures)

They draw their inspiration from Devon indigenous species and also the more exotic

The exhibition opens on Saturday 26th April to the 10th May and entry is free between 11 and 4.

Both artists are available throughout the exhibition to discuss their work and techniques

There are also two one day printmaking workshops for beginners on the 1st and 2nd May, these have limited spaces and need to be booked on 01837 840130 or db.art@hotmail.co.uk

The contemporary Pavilion in the Park offers ample parking , a great place to view Art and have a spring stroll in Simmons Park and other exciting wilderness walks in the Ockment Valley and up onto Dartmoor. Also on offer homemade cakes , tea and coffees , ice cream, lunches and Sunday Roasts.
