Global estate agent Fine & Country is celebrating the opening of its 25th office in the West Country

Global estate agent Fine & Country is celebrating the opening of its 25th office in the West Country - Fine & Country Exeter & East Devon. With 200 locations across England and Wales, the launch of the new Exeter branch, which took place on Friday 3rd February, symbolises the growing strength of the Fine & Country national network and the regional consolidation in the South West. This growth in the South West region is hardly surprising seeing that it is one of the UKs most popular holiday home destinations. The launch of the new Exeter office follows hot on the heels of the recent announcement outlining Fine & Countrys ambitious growth strategy for 2012.

As an established luxury brand, Fine & Country is renowned for selling beautiful homes that evoke character and distinction which plays to their advantage in the South West where such properties are in high demand. CEO of Fine & Country, Matthew Pryke said: The new Exeter branch is located in a significant geographical area marking the gateway between the rest of the UK and the South West. We have now created the most effective top-end group of offices in the West Country and we will also be announcing the opening of further offices in other areas of the UK shortly.

The Managing Director of Fine & Country Exeter and East Devon, Bruce Penny has more than 32 years estate agency experience and says: I believe that the Fine & Country brand will be invaluable to our new branch and this office launch symbolises the growing strength of the Fine & Country network. After establishing our first office in East Devon in 1999, we are delighted to be increasing our office base by investing in another office that is in the capital of the West Country. We have been selling homes in parts of Exeter and the surrounding areas for many years; it seemed the obvious next step to open an office in the heart of Exeter offering a more comprehensive service and wider coverage for those seeking the tranquil lifestyle that the South West has to offer.

In 2011, Exeter was heralded as one of the Top 10 Places to Invest in The UK by the Daily Telegraph. It also reported that there has been a flurry of London and South East home owners flocking to the West Country in search of a life change, escaping their hectic city lives and attracted to its stunning scenery, natural beauty and spectacular coastal landmarks. Napoleon Wilcox, Head of Webbers Fine & Country in Somerset, Devon and Cornwall has also been monitoring this trend and estimates that in the upper quartile of the market, 60% of their sales are from outside the West Country with the greatest influx coming from the South East and Home Counties. Napoleon went on to comment The Fine & Country Exeter office adds a tremendous lynchpin to our already extensive network of west country offices, offering, we believe, West Country Home Owners the very finest spread of local and regional offices across the West Country!
