RedBook is a ground breaking new service that helps clients find and select the ideal architect or landscape designer for their project from among the brightest talents in Britain.

RedBook is a ground breaking new service that helps clients find and select the ideal architect or landscape designer for their project from among the brightest talents in Britain.

We offer:

  • Tailored match-making with the ideal practice

  • Exceptional practices working across the spectrum of styles

  • Insightful advice on the commissioning- and building-process

Benefits to clients include:

  • Absolute confidence in their choice of creative partner

  • Saving time and research effort

  • Maximising the financial and aesthetic value of the project

Our Approach

RedBook has an online virtual gallery so you can compare the work of exceptional British architects and landscape designers: www.redbookagency.com

We invite you to explore the gallery and identify the style or projects that most appeal.

But we believe a truly successful match between client and creative professional is made when they share vision, personal chemistry and commitment. So we will come to meet you in order to gain a full understanding of your preference and needs. After our meeting, we will present our tailored selection of recommended practices.

Our Fees

We ask new clients for a registration fee of 250. This is repaid by RedBook as soon as the client appoints any practice we introduce.

There is no cost to using our service beyond the registration fee. This is because our revenue is earned from the practices we represent. They trust us to introduce clients they will truly enjoy working with. There is no commitment to use one of the practices we introduce, of course.

Our Vision

British architects and landscape designers enjoy a hard-earned reputation as world leaders, yet prospective clients often find the right practice very hard to identify. Little wonder: Britain has 33,000 architects and no limit to the numbers calling themselves landscape- or garden-designers.

So prospective clients looking for a creative partner often have to rely on word of mouth. That can be a slow process, typically yielding only one or two names. And who can be sure whether an architect or landscape designer recommended informally will provide the best possible match of skill, vision, personality or budget?

We believe it should not be so hard or risky.

Our Practices

The practices we work with include the most experienced practitioners as well as brilliant young stars of tomorrow. They work in every corner of Britain, and vary greatly in size of practice just as they do in their fees. Yet all these practices share two qualities: exciting talent and the highest degree of peer respect.

The practices also cover every scale of project and the full range of styles from the most contemporary to the purest traditional, including historic building restoration.

We know the practices we recommend intimately, and we only propose them to clients if we are completely sure of the match.

Our Expertise

To make certain our exclusive club of practices retains its demanding membership standards, we rely on our distinguished Advisory Panel to select exceptional practicesand to keep our list under constant review.

Our Advisory Panel includes the celebrated critics, curators and broadcasters Sir Roy Strong and Stephen Anderton (gardens), Clive Aslet and Jeremy Musson (traditional architecture), and Dominic Bradbury (contemporary architecture).
