Wine merchants Oliver & Bird Superior Wines has relocated from Wiveliscombe to Torquay

Oliver & Bird Superior Wines had been operating out of Wiveliscome in Somerset for nine years but, since David Morley took over in 2012 he has traveled from his home in Torbay each day to run this small independent Wine importers.

Having found that not only the distance - 55 miles each way - but the time taken to get there was impractical, the decision was made to move closer to home where the time could be better spent building the business.

Now that he is located in Torbay it means that he can now service his trade and private customers in Devon, Cornwall and Somerset far more efficiently.
Many of the wines are imported from independent producers in the Languedoc, an area Oliver & Bird specialise in.

Family run estates such as Domaine Lalaurie and Domaine la Colombette are bordering on legendary status when it comes to the exceptional standards of wine these dedicated growers produce. Oliver and Bird are sole importers of many wines on their current list and take pride in offering outstanding wines at sensible prices.
