Here a couple of thoughts on wine...

Most of us spend around 5 on a bottle of wine, which is fine, but think of this:

If you went to a pub you'd spend not far short of that on a large glass of house wine and wouldn't bat an eyelid.

Of that 5 you spent only 50p is for the wine, the rest is tax, retail profit, transport etc... those 'hidden costs remain roughly the same on any bottle of wine no matter how much you spend, so if you spend 10 on a bottle then the wine is worth 5.50 making it ten times better!
