Salcombe - The Harbourmaster’s View
During the summer more than 5,000 yachts and other river users will visit Salcombe. Enthusiasts of all descriptions, from yachtsmen to dinghy sailors from the owners of large power boats to small inflatable craft ply the sheltered waters. Managing and conserving the harbour and the estuary is the responsibility of Salcombe’s Harbour Authority and at the helm is harbourmaster Ian Gibson.
