Dreamflow Bed Competition

Dreamflow Bed Competition

Archant

A bed that can reduce cellulite, aid weight loss, reduce arthritic pain and cut water retention – it sounds too good to be true.

Devon entrepreneur Gary Baker is careful not to make sweeping promises for the Dream Flow bed he and his brother Rick have invented at their Plymouth base.

But even he admits to being surprised and amazed at the feedback he receives from customers who have been using the high-tech beds and say they have reaped unexpected benefits.

Take for example the Daily Mail journalist who took one of the Dream Flow beds for a seven week trial and reported to her readers that cellulite had magically vanished from her legs alongside a troublesome injury.

Or the fitness enthusiast who wrote to say after using the new bed shed seen a reduction in cholesterol and some weight loss as well as a better nights sleep.

The cause of all this excitement is the Dream Flow bed which has been developed by Gary and Rick Baker after years designing medical mattresses the sort used in hospitals to heal skin tissue injuries.

The Bakers other company Squirrel Medical supplies these mattresses to hospitals around the country and abroad. Now the brothers have applied similar principles to create a high-end luxury bed which contains a small computerised unit which assesses the weight of the person lying on it. This controls a series of micro air chambers in the mattress that gently contract and expand, stimulating both blood flow (circulation) and what is known as the lymphatic system.

Gary explained: Medical research has shown that this action can amplify the natural processes of healing and rejuvenation, it can help create endorphins (our bodys natural pain killers) and can reduce the need for repositioning which can disturb sleep.

The beds are not cheap you wont see much change from 3,000, but it seems many people think its money well spent for a good nights sleep and other health benefits.

Take customer Victoria Ryman. The 56-year-old, who loves ballroom dancing, and says the bed has transformed the way she feels: Its been so subtle, so inconspicuous. I have floated all night, yes I have slept like a baby, undisturbed and deep. I feel stronger, look healthier, more active, less stressed, better memory, body visibly improved and lifted, less pain, less stiffness . . . more muscle.

For me the results are like a daily medium workout and all I have done is go to bed. I love this bed.

Gary said: She seemed a perfect nine stone. She is now an even more perfect 8 1/2 stone. This, in her words is entirely due to the Dream Flow bed. We dont pretend for one second that Dream Flow should be used to replace exercise but it is an incredible means of gaining motion and therefore removal of waste toxins and water whilst we sleep - and this can have a string of health benefits.

The Dream Flow team has also manufactured an entry level overlay. It is called Spa Flow, retails at 795 and is designed to offer a mild boost to the circulatory and lymphatic systems system. Gary explains that where as Dream Flow is, in his words the most effective bed in the world, Spa Flow is designed towards improving skin tone, reducing puffy skin and alleviating mild aches and pains using your existing bed. It is allegedly used by one or two celebs whilst on tour as well as several well known Spa resort and country club.

In association with Squirrel Medical are pleased to offer a FREE Spa Flow Plus edition worth 1295 (upgraded version) to the firstreader to be drawn from a hat that has been able to answer the question below correctly. Winners will be notified after the closing date of November 30.
